Dear Native English speakers,

        We are a small organization in Thailand, a developing country in South East Asia, working to improve English-language education in the country. We are developing software which will help underprivileged kids learn English effectively. English language is a very important skill that will help them get better jobs and improve the lives of themselves and their families. The cost of learning with expert English teachers is beyond the means of most families and the software will be a way to redress this inequality in society. (We will provide a basic version free-of-charge and a premium version for a small fee to cover development and distribution cost. The cost of learning with the premium version will be as low as 25 cents per learning hour.) 

        The purpose of this Web site is to collect information for an important learning module of the software. In the module, kids will learn to associate an appropriate sentence with a fun image. (Learning with humorous images helps improve recall.) We would like to ask for your small contribution of time.

        If you just spend 15-20 minutes a day writing descriptions for these images (while having fun doing so), and email, say, 5-10 native English-speaking friends about this Web site, you will have made a significant gift of knowledge to thousands of lives.
